This series of light installations is inspired by histologic specimens, in which biological tissues are preserved and fixated for research and educational purposes.Tissues and cells may not be the only things worth preserving and observing. In this series of works, man-made objects — especially electronic components, metallic substances, and industrial materials — are fixated on the plexiglass with liquid resin, highlighted by a rim of LED lights. These components are the "living" building blocks of our contemporary life.
