Build-up by Burn-down (BUXBD) is a mini landscape of building and burning. Black and yellow candles in cubic or cylindrical forms are "planted" on a rectangular board using melting wax from the candles themselves. The candles are connected by 3D printed abstract structures. Each time BUXBD is "at work", certain candles are lit up and others are extinguished. The gradual burn-down of wax slowly builds up and reshape the landscape. During this process, natural forces (fire, wind, gravity) chime in and work in tandem with human interventions.
